St. Andrews- Windfield

Why you'd want to live in St. Andrews- Windfield

The Windfields neighbourhood is named after Windfields Farm, the estate of Canadian philanthropist E. P. Taylor, who donated 30 acres of land, which is now Windfields Park. The Taylor family also donated the Windfields mansion on Bayview Avenue, which is now the home of the Canadian Centre for Advanced Film Studies The Toronto District School Board operates these schools in the neighbourhood: St. Andrew Junior High School, Windfields Junior High, Owen Elementary School, Harrison Public School and York Mills Collegiate High School. École secondaire Étienne-Brûlé is a French-language school in the area. There are no Catholic board schools in St. Andrew-Windfields. Some parts of the neighbourhood boast upscale homes, but other streets contain more modest houses. The area also has its fair share of greenspace. via toronto.com
